The Marwood School Disco is back!

Music, dancing and dance competitions with Westy's Events, 5pm to 6.30pm at Marwood Community Hall. £5 per child. 🪩
It's been a few years, and we're so excited to bring the school disco back! We've hired the well-known Westy's Events to run the party, with plenty of music, dancing and dancing competitions to get everyone on the dance floor.
- Time: 5pm to 6.30pm
- Where: Marwood Community Hall
- Tickets: £5 per child
To get in: hand in the form with the envelope and money by Tuesday 3rd November. Without these your child will not be allowed into the disco.
Make an evening of it! Head home after school, have some dinner, get dressed up and come back ready to dance. Why not share a lift with other parents to make it easier?
Every ticket sold supports the MSA, so please come along and bring your child.

On the day
- Sign in to help
Door: tick children off the listi16:45–17:30 · 2 of 2 still needed
Sit at the hall door with the list of children whose form and money came in.
- Tick each child off as they arrive, and say hello to the grown-up dropping them off
- If a child isn't on the list, don't turn them away yourself: fetch a committee member (the flyer says no form and money, no entry)
- Remind grown-ups that pick-up is at 6.30pm at the same door
- Keep the list safe: it comes back out at pick-up

Helpers in the halli17:00–18:30 · 3 of 3 still needed
Be an extra pair of eyes while Westy's Events run the music, dancing and competitions.
- Keep an eye on the dance floor and the doors: no child leaves the hall without their grown-up
- Walk children to the toilets and wait outside
- Help out with the dance competitions if Westy's ask
- Know where the first aid kit and the water are
You don't have to dance (but you're very welcome to!).

Pick-up & tidy upi18:15–18:45 · 3 of 3 still needed
- From 6.30pm, hand each child back to their grown-up at the door; children wait inside until they're collected
- Then stack the chairs, sweep up and bag the rubbish so the hall is left as we found it
- Gather any lost property and give it to a committee member
Usually done by 6.45pm.
