Come to school in spooky style for a £2 donation, and decorate a pumpkin for £1. Dr Boon picks a winner from each year group! 🎃
Halloween dress-up day
Wear a Halloween top or a full costume to school for a £2 donation. Sensible shoes please, and keep costumes comfortable and safe so everyone can play and learn.
Pumpkin decorating competition
Get creative and colour your pumpkin using any materials you like for a £1 donation. Dr Boon will choose a winner from each year group, with prizes to be won! Please hand in your creations at the gate on the day.
Please put your money in the envelope that came home with the flyer, for collection at the gate on the day. All money raised goes to Marwood School Association.

On the day

At the gate: collect envelopes and pumpkinsi8:20–8:50 · 2 of 2 still needed
Stand at the school gate at morning drop-off with a collection box and a table.
- Take the money envelopes (£2 to dress up, £1 per pumpkin) and pop them straight in the box
- Take each pumpkin and check it shows the child's name and year group (add a sticky label if not)
- Line the pumpkins up on the table by year group, ready for Dr Boon to judge
- When the gate closes, hand the box and the pumpkins in at the school office
No counting needed: the treasurer counts the money later.
